The Queanbeyan Anglers Club (QAC) is made up of a group of like minded anglers who are focused on stocking and access to the local waters. We have a long and rich past that stretches back over sixty years. The club members are a range of anglers from all walks of life.
As a Branch of the Monaro Acclimatisation Society, the QAC is responsible for stocking rainbow and brown trout fry and fingerlings in rivers and streams in the Queanbeyan region.
Monthly meetings are held at 8 p.m. at the Queanbeyan Roo's Club on the first Wednesday of each month and our AGM and Dinner is the first Wednesday of August. Meetings are always social and informative, with the opportunity to talk fishing with some of the most experienced anglers in our area. Some of our members have represented Australia at world championship level and happy to share their knowledge. Everyone is welcome to attend meetings to get a sense of what the club is about before deciding whether to join.
Our financial year starts on 1st July however annual contributions for membership fall due at the AGM. The annual subscription fee is $10.
